New to lash extensions? Here’s everything you need to know, minus the jargon.

What are classic lash extensions?

A single synthetic lash extension is carefully attached to one of your natural lashes using a semi-permanent lash adhesive. This is called a “one-to-one” application. The result is longer, lifted, more defined lashes that look like a soft, natural mascara.

How long do they last?

Extensions fall out naturally with your own lash cycle, as your natural lashes shed and regrow. Most people book a fill every 2 to 3 weeks to keep the look full and fresh.

What does an appointment feel like?

It’s relaxing! You’ll lie down comfortably with your eyes closed the whole time while I work. Many clients fall asleep. A full set takes about 2 hours, so it’s a great time to nap, listen to music, or zone out.

Will they damage my natural lashes?

When applied correctly and cared for properly, lash extensions should not harm your natural lashes. Good aftercare matters. Avoid picking or pulling on them, and always let a professional remove them.

Are they right for you?

Classic lashes are a great choice if you:

  • Want a natural, “wake up looking polished” look
  • Are trying extensions for the first time
  • Want to skip mascara and save time in the morning
  • Love a soft, everyday enhancement

Get ready, stay pretty

Before your appointment

  • Arrive with a clean face: no mascara, eye makeup, or eye creams
  • Skip curling your lashes that day
  • Avoid heavy oils or creams around your eyes for 48 hours beforehand
  • Set up a clean, well-lit spot where you can lie down comfortably (a bed or couch is perfect)
  • Let me know about any allergies or eye sensitivities when you book
  • Keep pets and kids in another room during your appointment so you can fully relax

After your appointment

  • Keep your lashes dry for the first 24 hours (no showers with hot steam, and no pools or saunas)
  • Brush your lashes daily with a clean spoolie
  • Cleanse your lashes gently with a lash-safe cleanser
  • Avoid oil-based products near your eyes, and skip waterproof mascara
  • Don’t pick, pull, or rub your lashes
  • Sleep on your back or side when you can
  • Book your fill before your set fades so it stays full

Every client gets a simple aftercare card, so you never have to remember it all!

(Booking policies)

Good to know

No deposit required.
Just pick a time and book. There’s nothing to pay upfront to hold your spot.
Cancellations & rescheduling.
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule so I can offer your spot to someone else.
Running late.
A 15-minute grace period is allowed. After that, your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled so I can stay on time for the next client.
Fill guidelines.
Fill pricing applies within 3 weeks of your last appointment, with at least 40% of your lashes remaining. Otherwise, a full set price applies.
Classic sets only.
I can fill classic sets. Extensions from other styles (like volume) may need to be removed before a new set.
Touch-ups.
If you have any concerns with your set, message me within 72 hours and I’ll happily take care of it.
Health & safety.
Please reschedule if you have any eye infection or irritation, or feel unwell. Let me know about any allergies or sensitivities (especially adhesives) when booking.
Weather.
Calgary weather can be unpredictable! If road conditions are unsafe, we’ll reschedule at no charge.
Age.
Clients must be 18+.
Environment.
For your comfort and safety, please keep pets and children out of the room during the service.

Book Your Appointment

No. I’m a mobile lash artist and come to you. You just need a comfy spot to lie down.

Just a clean, quiet space and a comfy place to lie down. I bring the equipment and supplies.

A full set takes about 2 hours. Fills take about 1 to 1.25 hours, and removals about 30 minutes.

Not at all. Most clients find it relaxing, and some fall asleep. Your eyes stay closed throughout.

We’ll chat at the start of your appointment about the length, curl, and level of fullness you want. I’ll recommend what suits your eye shape and lifestyle.

Most people come in every 2 to 3 weeks to keep their lashes full.

Not yet. I’m currently certified in classic lashes and specialize in that natural, soft look.

It’s best to skip it. Mascara isn’t needed with extensions, and removing it can loosen your lashes. If you do use it, avoid waterproof formulas and oils.
